In just a quick couple of seconds, it serves as a note-perfect parody of all those "news" anchors, O'Reilly and his Fox News Channel fellow travelers most prominent among them, who take refuge from ideas in a kind of blind, deaf and dumb patriotism.

Ummm...being patriotic is not actually the absence of thought, unless! you are a cheese eating surrender monkey weaselly journalist type who hates his country.
