Score One for The Minutemen

Earlier this week came word that Mexico was planning to hand out maps to help people cross ILLEGALLY from Mexico into the United States.

Then the Minutemen brilliantly announced that they would use the maps, which indicated such helpful things as water station locations and where to get cell phone reception, to plan where they should do what they do: sit and watch for ILLEGAL border crossers so they can report them to Border Patrol.

Now, all of a sudden, Mexico doesn't think the maps are such a good idea after all.

Mexico will suspend its plan to distribute maps to migrants wanting to cross the U.S. border illegally, but an official said Thursday the decision was not made because of American pressure.
Of course it wasn't -- everyone knows that America isn't doing shit to fix the problem. They're not passing out the maps because of American citizen pressure. They're called The Minutemen.

Miguel Angel Paredes, spokesman for the federal Human Rights Commission, said the government wanted to "rethink" its plan because human rights officials in border states expressed concern that the maps would show anti-immigrant groups — like the Minutemen civilian patrols — where migrants likely would gather.

"This would be practically like telling the Minutemen where the migrants are going to be," Paredes said. "We are going to rethink this, so that we wouldn't almost be handing them over to groups that attack migrants."
It seems that ol' Miguel is having some trouble. Trouble distinguishing between immigrants and ILLEGAL immigrants. Trouble telling the difference between anti-immigrant groups and anti-ILLEGAL-immigration groups. Trouble making a distinction between watching/reporting, and attacking.

Remind me again why we're spending so much @$&% time TALKING to Mexico about the illegal immigration crisis?
